To the tune of U2's Love Is Blindness off their album Achtung Baby, I present you with my tax time lyric revamp, Taxes Are Vile

Whenever I complain about taxes, my dad points out the great benefits we receive from them. Fire department, police department, park districts, free schooling, mosquito spraying in the summer, the list goes on and on. I still hate paying them. Oh well, I just pretend my money goes to my local music department. It helps me feel better ;-)

Well perhaps with another administration, I wouldn't be so ticked about paying. Maybe. It's just the damn forms! I swear Virginia has a deal with tax preparers and accountants. Make the forms and instructions so confusing that everyone will give up and be driven to a professional. However, I refuse to pay a tax on my taxes (this is how I see having a professional do my taxes).

Next year will only be the Fed and VA tho. Not Fed, VA & NC. Oh and I'll be able to pay VA online for Free! They have a harsh "If you only lived here part of the year, then you can't use this service" policy. The jerks.
