This that and the other thing. Though there might be more of this than that. And little of the other things. Maybe.

Mullet Man

With apologies to Neil Young, here's my rewrite of Southern Man

Mullet man
Better grow your hair
Get Rogaine,
Stay away from Nair
Toupees, wigs:
A thing of the past
Now your follicles
Are growing fast
Mullet man

Front is business
The back not mild
Big loud party
And waving wild
Mullet man
Grown so long
Your new child?
It gets tangled
You’re often combin’
How long? How long?

Mullet man
Better grow your hair
Get Rogaine,
Stay away from Nair
Toupees, wigs:
A thing of the past
Now your follicles
Are growing fast
Mullet man

Pretty Boy,
Chin hair of peachie fuzz
I’ve heard your threat of
Getting’ buzzed
Vow to me
You’ll never cut it off!
Comments:
While I typically totally <3 your lyric rewrites, this one leaves me wanting it to end.

Ok love u g'nite. -R

I had to write it to get it out of my head! Two words, Mullet man, over and over and over in my head. For my own sanity, I had to do the whole song.

It's not my best work, but it was cathartic. Therapeutic. Whatever. It got the damn chorus out of my head!
