Mini Update Type List Thing
No pix today. I could post one of the half eaten piece of cheesecake from a luncheon I was at yesterday. But then I might want another piece. I've already had two pieces in the last two days, MORE than enough yummy, delicious cheesecake for this week.
Luna continues to romp around. Still not eating as much as she had been. Still sleeping a lot more than normal too. Staples come out Monday.
Laptop is still kerpluied.
Car door is back to not opening unless I roll down the window.
Rear view mirror hasn't fallen off. Yet. It still vibrates as I drive around. I'm much better at scrunching down in my seat at night and sitting up straighter during the day. I didn't realize how much I relied on the tilting abilities of it until it stopped tilting.
Have a great weekend :)

Beach Pix Preview
After much trashing of room looking for camera cable, I found it. I haven't tested it yet to see if it still works. There are some incriminating chew marks on it. These pix are from my cell phone.

Kids (Kittens)These Days
Luna punched me this morning. Now the corner of my bottom lip is slightly swollen. I'd like to think that she was aiming for my hand, since that's where she was looking. But she's pretty squirrelly so you never can tell. At least she didn't have her claws out.
Hockey
Canes lost to the Panthers last night. Our winning streak ended at four. Bah.
Unreleatedly
There was another double rainbow yesterday! Two days in a row. Really awesome to see :)

Luna, Luna, Luna (said with that resigned Mother voice)
I woke up, eight minutes before my alarm, to the sounds of Luna retching. She seems fine. Now.
There's a lovely gift of the unknown green object she ate over the weekend (still can't tell what it is), a rubber band and part of the red elastic string from a toy. She and I had another chat about what is, and is not, kitten food. I'm pretty sure she ignored me.
*sigh*

And Piglet Too? No. Tho I Did Have Bacon on my Pizza
Luna seems to be back to normal. She was chewing on me, per usual, this morning. Currently she's running around and playing. Hallelujah. Although, she was trying to eat a balloon a little while ago.
Hockey
Canes beat the devils! Mwahahahahahahhaha!!!! I also refrained from throwing spitballs their plane when I went by the airport earlier today. Such restraint I have.
Unrelatedly
I found new scat at work today. Even took a picture. (Did you really think I would let the pooh go so quickly?)

Well, It's Not Winnie-The-Pooh
Luna has been acting squirrelly the last couple of mornings. More lethargic and less pouncing than normal. I wouldn't normally be concerned but she ate something that was not kitten (or cat) food late Saturday night. Things seem to be moving through her system okay, so I'm nearly certain she's alright.
Speaking of poo, I talked to JT earlier and he told me all about one of his ...offerings to the toilet bowl Gods. He was afraid the 'toilet wouldn't take it cause it was a big poop. But it did take it.' I wish I could've recorded the conversation and then played it for him on this 16th birthday.
It's not everyday you can segue from one conversation to another by discussing poo. I could have segued again to a work update, but really, two different subjects with the same theme is enough.
Hockey
I was given two tickets to the Canes game last Friday night (and a parking pass). They were sweet seats. Third row from the ice, at the blue line, at the opponents end. Meaning I got to see the Canes go for goals for 40 minutes. How freaking awesome!
Yes, there are some definite disadvantages about being that close. You can't see the puck when it's on your side, just the bodies and sticks going after it. You can't see one corner at all. There are something around 50 stairs you have to climb up to leave, to get a drink/food, to go to the bathroom. And the jumbo tron scoreboard doo dad hanging at center ice is really high and you get a crick in your neck if you try to watch anything on it.
But, you get to hear the puck sliding across the ice, the sound of it hitting the pads on the goalies and the chatter among the players. You get to see the facial expressions (it's amazing how many players stick their tongues out).
All in all, a good time. Plus we won! :) Anybody else want to give me hockey tix?
